On January 17, 2023, 40-year-old Andrew Nicholas Sughroue of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away at his residence.

Andrew was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, on October 28, 1982. His family gave him the sweet nickname “Bud.”

He went to school in McCook and was one of four siblings. He attended St. Patrick’s for elementary education and went on to earn his high school diploma from McCook in 2001.

Bud played baseball while attending McCook Community College after high school. He earned a bachelor’s in business from Wayne State College in 2005. Bud relocated to the Council Bluffs/Omaha region and started a career in retail management there.

No matter where Andrew worked over his career, his outgoing personality and demeanor made it simple for his coworkers to get along with him.
