Anna Kendrick was born on August 9, 1985 in Portland, Maine, USA. Her first acting role was as Dinah in the Broadway musical High Society in 1998 when she was just 12.
She made her film debut in the 2003 musical comedy Camp. In 2008, she played the role of Jessica Stanley in Twilight.
She then co-starred alongside George Clooney and Vera Farmiga in the 2009 film Up in the Air, for which she received nominations from several critics awards.
She also appeared in other films such as Pitch Perfect and What to Expect When You’re Expecting.
