Max Verstappen is a Belgian-Dutch racing driver and the 2021 Formula One World Champion.

He is the son of former Formula One driver Jos Verstappen and competes under the Dutch flag in Formula One with Red Bull Racing.

Are Max Verstappen and Daniil Kvyat friends?

Max Verstappen and Daniil Kyvat are actually far from friends and Verstappen might not be in Kyvat’s good books.

First of all, Verstappen was Kyvat’s replacement. On 5 May 2016, following the Russian Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing announced that Verstappen would be replacing Daniil Kvyat from the Spanish Grand Prix onward.

According to Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, the switch would allow Verstappen to showcase his ‘outstanding’ talent, and also help Kvyat ‘regain his form’.

Kyvat dated the daughter of Brazillian racing driver, Nelson Piquet, Kelly Piquet. The pair dated from January 2017 TO December 2019.

They welcomed their daughter Penelope on July 27, 2019.

In October 2020, Piquet began a relationship with none other than Verstappen. They have been together since.
