Christine Caine Biography

Christine Caine (birth name: Christine Caryofyllis) is an Australian activist, evangelist, international speaker, and author. She is best known as the co-founder of The A21 Campaign with her husband Nick Caine and is the founder of Propel Women. As an author, Caine has written several books, among them, “A Life Unleashed”, “Run to Win”, “Unstoppable” and “Unexpected” among others. She is an active speaker about her passion for God, the local church, and justice at conferences and other events across the globe.

Christine Caine Family – Parents

Caine’s parents are not known as she was adopted right after her birth by Greek Orthodox immigrants. She was then raised in Lalor Park, New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in public commission housing. She attended school at Lynwood Park Public School before joining Blacktown Girls High School and later on she furthered her studies at the University of Sydney. She graduated with a degree in English from the latter. She also went to Hillsong College and in 1990 she graduated from the said institution.

Christine is married to Nick Caine since 1996. Together, they are the founders of The A21 Campaign a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-governmental organization whose works is to combat human trafficking.

Nick and Christine are also directors and pastors of Equip & Empower Ministries. They are also parents to two daughters namely; Catherine Bobbie and Sophia Joyce Grace.

Growing up in the Greek Orthodox Church in Australia, Caine first volunteered as a youth worker, when she helped establish Hills District Youth Service. She went on to become the director of a nationwide youth ministry, Youth Alive. In 2008 Christine founded the A21 Campaign with her husband Nick, who now serves as the CEO of A21 and Pastor of Zoe Churches. With 12 offices in 11 countries, their aim is to prevent human trafficking through awareness, to protect trafficked victims in their shelters and transition homes, to prosecute traffickers and strengthen the legal response to human trafficking, and to partner with law enforcement, individuals, corporations, official bodies, and other non-governmental organizations to end human trafficking in the 21st century.

In January 2015, Caine founded Propel Women, an organization that believes in the passion, purpose, and potential of every woman everywhere. Propel Women exists to honor the calling of every woman, empower her to lead, equip her for success, and develop a sense of God-given purpose.

Caine has also been featured on international television shows that include TBN’s Praise the Lord, The James Robison Show, Joyce Meyer’s Enjoying Everyday Life, and Joni Lamb, and is a Women of Faith speaker. In October 2016, TBN launched a weekly TV show featuring Caine called, “Equip & Empower”.
