Dateline: Who Is Sarah Goode From Long Island?
Sarah Goode was a 21-year-old woman and a single mother. She comes from a family of nine siblings and was the youngest born. She is the daughter of Elizabeth Goode.

Sarah Goode’s Family Had Reported Her Missing In 2014
The family of Sarah Goode knew that she had gone partying. Therefore, keeping late hours was not a cause of concern for them. However, Goode never called or messaged for two days. Ultimately, the family had to report her missing.
The Police and family had begun her search in Medford, New York. The whole long Island community searched for her sign. The very next day, NY police discovered a car, a 1999 BMW, that was parked in the woods near her home.
A deceased body was discovered a week later, and it was ultimately identified as Sarah Goode. The woman’s body was sexually violated and stabbed more than 42 times, according to forensics.
Who Killed Sarah Goode?
Sarah Goode died after being sexually assaulted and stabbed. She was brutally killed by a metal piece that was found lodged inside her head.
Goode was killed by Dante Taylor, a 19-year-old former Marine officer. The NY police were able to locate Taylor via GPS and by analyzing the cell phone records. The listings had shown that Taylor was the last person to call Goode. He had called Sarah while driving to her location.
Similarly, a blood-stained handprint was checked in Sarah’s hood and Taylor had become a prime target. He was arrested but then released as police took his fingerprints, DNA, and call records without probable cause. Therefore, he was temporarily freed.
Dante Taylor was arrested yet again on unrelated charges at Vergo Beach, Florida. This time the investigation did not fail to put him behind the bars. Eventually, Taylor claimed that he killed Goode because she supposedly rejected him. She had turned down his approaches at a gathering the night before she died.
The killer of Goode, Dante Taylor was also charged with attempted rape three years before her death. Subsequently, he was charged with second-degree murder for killing Sarah and was given a life sentence in 2016.
In October 2017, Dante was found dead in his prison cell. He was in place in a prison outside the Buffalo, New York. His parents claim that Dante was brutally beaten by the officer leading to his death by injuries. The same year they had filed a lawsuit against the Wende Correctional Facility.
