So while fans do hope their romance was real, the pair have never dated in real life. During the majority of filming for NCIS, Pablo was in a relationship with The Man Who Stares At Goats actor Diego Serrano. This was until they broke up in 2015, a couple of years after she left the series.

Cote de Pablo has had quite a prolific career. The Chilean-American singer and actor gained popularity after being cast on the popular TV show “NCIS” starring opposite actor Michael Weatherly. She played Ziva David, a former Mossad officer from Israel. The duo worked together, and their chemistry was undeniable.
The friendship lasted even after de Pablo’s departure from the show, as she came back for the viewing party for Weatherly’s final episode with “NCIS” to support him (via E! News ).

During an interview on Rachael Ray Show, Pablo also said “he’s like my brother”, referring to Weatherly.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly Pablo admitted how there was an “immediate attraction” between herself and her co-star.
