Dr. Phillip Bilderback is a bariatric, upper gastrointestinal and general abdominal surgeon. He received his medical degree from University of Washington School of Medicine and went on to complete residency in General Surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA. After residency, he sought additional training and graduated fellowship in minimally invasive bariatric and upper gastrointestinal surgery at UCSF in San Francisco, CA. He has been in practice 5 years. His interest in bariatric, upper gastrointestinal and general surgery has continued with a focus on minimally invasive surgical solutions to problems such as acid reflux, hernias, obesity, and revision bariatric procedures. He believes in the importance of personal connections in surgery and endeavors to make each of his patients feel heard and seen. He values education and takes the time to explain the diagnosis and the surgical approach in plain language to all of his patients.
