Dr. Sathya Bhandari is a board certified, fellowship-trained physician physiatrist specializing in the treatment of all aspects of pain management. Dr Bhandari's unique training in musculoskeletal medicine, interventional procedures, and electrodiagnostics offers patients the opportunity to diagnose and effectively treat their pain. She started her career in medicine as part of an elite group of undergraduates from Rutgers University who were accepted into the accelerated Bachelors/Medical Degree program at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (now Rutgers Medical School). After graduating with accolades for community service and humanistic medicine, she went on to the prestigious Mount Sinai University Hospital to commence training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The completion of her formal training took her to Michigan State University Hospital during which she completed two fellowships in Interventional Spine/Pain Medicine and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Electrodiagnostic Medicine is the study and diagnosis of nerve and muscle disorders using electrodiagnostics. Dr. Bhandari also is an experienced injector of Botox. She has treated migraines, spasticity due to stroke or cerebral palsy, and other conditions successfully with Botox.
Dr. Bhandari lives in Flower Mound, Texas with her husband and two children. She has practiced in the Denton/Tarrant County area since 2012.
