Dr. Shelley-Ann Pennycooke is a Board Certified Emergency Physician who’s been practicing Emergency Medicine for the past 13 years. Dr. Pennycooke graduated from Rutgers University in the year 2000 after completing a double major in Biology and African Studies. She went on to complete her medical education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry- School of Osteopathic Medicine. She continued on to complete her Residency in Emergency Medicine at the same institution where she was selected Chief Intern. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and currently practices at Hackensack Meridian- Riverview Medical Center.
Dr Pennycooke has experience working in high acuity-busy emergency rooms, Urgent Care Centers as well as working on a Telemedicine platform.
Dr. Pennycooke is also certified in field of Aesthetic Medicine and served as Medical Director of the New Jersey Vein and Laser Center from 2015-20020
Dr. Pennycooke is most passionate however, about using her medical training and expertise to serve both her local community as well as the world community. She continues to support and travel with medical mission organizations, providing education and medical care to severely impoverished and underserved communities.
