Dylan Robert Maas Passes Away, Another Injured in Watonwan Accident

In a tragic incident, Dylan Robert Maas, a 31-year-old resident of Sleepy Eye, lost his life following a collision between two semi-trucks in Adrian Township, Watonwan County. The accident occurred around 8:23 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP), the collision took place at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 30 and County Road 5. Dylan Robert Maas was driving a 1995 Freightliner tractor eastbound on Minnesota Highway 30, while another individual was operating a 1998 Kenworth tractor heading southbound on County Road 5. The vehicles collided for reasons yet to be determined.

Tragically, Dylan Robert Maas lost his life in the crash, and the driver of the Kenworth was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

As authorities continue to investigate the incident, further details about the cause of the crash remain unknown.
