Dorcas Affo-Toffey has won the Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region.

She stood on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress to snatch the seat from the NPP.

The seat which was a traditional NDC seat was captured by Paul Essien of the NPP in 2016.

Dorcas Affo-Toffey, the mother of musician Fantana has won back the seat for the NDC.

Days leading to the election, Shatta Wale a cousin of Fantana went to Jomoro to launch Shatta Movement Jomoro Branch in what looked like a shadow-campaign for Dorcas Affo-Toffey
