Sadness and dismay among fans, friends and SK Gaming: E-sports professional and ‘Clash Royale’ star Justus von Eitzen (Flobby) is dead.

More than 100,000 followers follow Justus von Eitzen – better known as Flobby – on his alone Twitch Channel where the SK gaming pro regularly plays live clash royale-Games streamed. The strategy game released in 2016 is based on the long-running hit clash of clans and is one of several extremely popular smartphone games by Finnish studio Supercell.

In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the Cologne e-sports organization now has in an emotional tweet made public that von Eitzen passed away. Literally it says:

Today Justus ‘Flobby’ von Eitzen – a close friend and an incredible person – passed away by suicide. This is a tragic end to a short but extraordinary life at just 22 years old.”

According to SK Gaming, Von Eitzen died as a result of a car fall after leaving his family a farewell letter.
