Around 5 p.m. on Sunday, a well-known K-100 broadcaster host passed away. Gary’s longtime on-air colleague and his friend’s daughter confirmed his passing. He was afflicted with lung illness, pulmonary fibrosis, and kidney malignancy.

He received a kidney cancer diagnosis in March of last year. He required immediate surgery to remove the whole tumor from his right kidney at that time. but was only able to live for 11 months before passing away on February 19, 2023.
