According to a GoFundMe page that is now gathering money for the family, a Massachusetts couple was involved in a motorbike accident in Seabrook that claimed the life of the fiancé one week before their wedding reception.

According to the GoFundMe, Jessica Edom-Zajac was gravely hurt and Jeff Zajac was killed in the collision.

On Saturday, they were having their wedding celebration.

According to the GoFundMe, “Jessica is in critical care and has a long road to recovery ahead of her.” Jessica’s family is requesting any assistance to aid with her transition back to a normal life.

The pair from Saugus, Massachusetts, was heading to New Hampshire to make a final deposit when they were involved in the collision, according to 7News.

According to authorities, a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle was struck by a 2010 Toyota Corolla that was making an attempt to turn left onto Brook Casino. Edom-Zajac suffered critical injuries, according to authorities, and Zajac was declared deceased at the spot. The Corolla’s occupants were unharmed.

Although the accident is still being investigated, authorities stated that “speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.”
