The Chicago Police Department is making an appeal for information in the search for a missing 11-year-old girl.

Officers say they last saw Mariah Acosta on Friday in the North Lawndale area, around 16th Street and Drake Avenue.

Acosta is a five-foot-tall, one-hundred-pound white Hispanic girl with brown hair and brown eyes.
Chicago police ask that anybody with information on her whereabouts call 312-745-8251.
