Marie Bailey Aikman, 80, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2022, surrounded by her beloved family. Charlyn was born in Long Beach, California to Mark and Thomasin Bailey.
Although shy, Charlyn never met a stranger and could converse with anyone on almost any topic. She was adored by all who had the good fortune to meet her.
She loved her family, friends, sports and needleworking.
Each one of her beloved family members will forever treasure the hand-made blanket, pillow or tapestry she created just for them.
Her home was filled with warmth, kindness, and a lot of bling (her favorite color)! She loved holidays and would plan months in advance to make each one so special.
Charlyn was most proud of the beautiful family she created. We have all been blessed by the amazing influence she has had on our lives and will share memories of her forever.
She is survived by her children: Terri Starns (Rich), Tammy Powell (Mike), and Troy Aikman; grandchildren: Brooke Green (Mike), Brady Foreman, Drew Powell (Carolyn), Reid Powell, Jordan Aikman, and Ally Aikman; and great-grandchildren: Charlyn ‘Charlie’ Green and Bryn Green. She is also survived by her brother, Mark Bailey (Diane), and sister, Melanie Osendorf.
At Charlyn’s request, the family will celebrate her life at a later date.
