Cheryl Baker (born Rita Maria Crudgington on March 8, 1954) is an English singer and television host. She is most known for being a member of Bucks Fizz, a 1980s pop group who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981. Between 1981 and 1988, the group had 20 songs enter the UK top 60, including three number one successes with “Making Your Mind Up,” “The Land of Make Believe,” and “My Camera Never Lies” (1982). Baker previously competed in the 1978 Eurovision Song Contest as a member of the band Co-Co, representing the United Kingdom. Since 2004, she has been a member of the band OBF (The Original Bucks Fizz), with Mike Nolan and Jay Aston, who took over for Shelley Preston in 2009.
