Hunter Eric Melander, 21, of Cambridge died tragically on Sunday, January 1, 2023 in rural Isanti.

He was born October 25, 2001 to Chad and Karen (Hechsel) Melander in Cambridge, Minnesota. Hunter graduated from Cambridge-Isanti High School in 2020.

He was currently working as a heavy equipment operator with Hobbs Excavating and was a member of the 49ers Union.

Hunter is survived by his parents Chad and Karen Melander of Cambridge, sister Ashley Melander and fiance’ James Anderson of Mauston, WI, grandmothers Althea Hechsel of Isanti, and Georgia Melander of North Branch, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
