Is Christopher Comstock the same as Marshmello?

Marshmello’s identity was kept top secret for a while there, but he was revealed to be DJ Christopher Comstock back in 2017.  The stage name, an alternative spelling of “marshmallow”, and his marshmallow mascot head were both inspired by Canadian electronic music producer Deadmau5.

He also uses an alternate spelling for his stage name and performs wearing a “dead mouse” mascot head.  Marshmello has done a ton of fake reveals over the years, but the best one was him getting Shawn Mendes to pretend to be him at the 2018 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards.

As a YouTuber, Marshmello has published gaming and cooking videos for his series “Gaming with Marshmello” and “Cooking with Marshmello”. In an episode of the latter, American singer Paula Abdul was featured as a guest.
