Jalen Marquis Brunson is an American professional basketball player for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association. He played college basketball for Villanova University, where he was the National Player of the Year as a junior and won two national championships.

Brunson ended his junior year of high school at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois as one of the top point guards in the country. He was selected as the 2014 Illinois Boys Basketball Gatorade Player of the Year.

He was selected to participate in the 2015 McDonald’s All-American Boys Game as well as the 2015 Jordan Brand Classic and to represent the Team USA in the Nike Hoop Summit
