In Teyvat (the world our character is currently staying at in Genshin Impact) archons can shapeshift. Meaning they can shapeshift into any gender, any age, any person, anything. Venti is a male, he is neither a female nor a trap. But if he wanted to, he could change into a female and identify as one.
