Ivan Perišić born 2 February 1989 is a Croatian professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the Croatia national team. In addition to his usual position as a winger, he has also played as an attacking midfielder, second striker, and wing-back.
Perišić, a graduate of the Hajduk Split and Sochaux youth academies, established himself as a star player for Club Brugge, where he led the league in goals and won the 2011 Belgian Footballer of the Year award. This led to his transfer to Borussia Dortmund, where he won the Bundesliga in 2011–12, before inking a contract with VfL Wolfsburg for €8 million in January 2013. Before going to Inter Milan for €16 million, he stayed there for two and a half seasons, winning the 2015 DFB-Pokal Final. In 2019, he joined Bayern Munich on loan, earning the treble. He won the Serie A in 2020–21 and the Supercoppa Italiana in 2021 after returning to Inter Milan.
Wife and Children
In 2012, Perišić married Josipa, whom he had initially met in high school. The couple has two children: a son named Leonardo who was born on October 9, 2012, and a daughter named Manuela who was born on July 28, 2014.
Parents and Siblings
Ante Perišić and Tihana Perišić, the parents of Perišić worked as farmers and he used to help them on the farm before his football career.
He has a sister called Anita Perišić.
