All About Missing British Citizen Jake Marlowe

Jake Marlowe (age: 26, born July 9, 1997) is a security guard who has gone missing after the chaos caused by a Hamas attack at an Israeli music festival on October 7, 2023. The situation is dire, as Marlowe hasn’t been heard from since Saturday morning, leaving everyone concerned.

Reports indicate that he was last seen in the vicinity of Gaza, right after the festival was targeted in a brazen attack. Jake made the last call to mom

Marlowe, a 26-year-old former student of JFS School, was responsible for security at an event in the desert close to Kibbutz Re’im when the attack from Gaza occurred. Regrettably, there has been no communication from him since 5:30 am.

At 4:20 am, Jake contacted his mother about the rockets flying above his location. An hour later, at 5:30 am, he made another call to his mother, expressing that the situation was deteriorating near Gaza. Despite this, he reassured his parents that he was safe.

Unfortunately, there has been no communication from the young man yet, causing great concern for his family and friends.

One of Marlowe’s friends, Sarah D Berkman, commented on a Twitter post:

Efforts Are Being Made to Bring Marlowe Back

In the wake of Jake Marlowe’s disappearance, the Embassy released an official statement confirming the proactive involvement of the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office in communicating with and offering assistance to the families of numerous individuals located in both Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

On one hand, there is an outpouring of sorrow and condemnation for the actions of Hamas in Israel. Conversely, some individuals are expressing approval and jubilation.

Such celebratory incidents were observed on the streets of London, particularly along the Edgware Road, often referred to as Arab Street. Reports indicate that certain young men, adorning a car with a Palestinian flag, traversed the streets and danced amidst the scene.
