The driver of a car that crashed late on Saturday in Montgomery County has been named as Jennifer Menefee, from Ramer, Alabama.

On Saturday night near Grady, Menefee, 34, was killed in a single-vehicle accident.

Around 10 p.m. on Saturday, Menefee was reportedly driving a Nissan Murano on CR-28 in the Grady area when, for reasons that have not been disclosed, the vehicle left the road. After hitting a guardrail, the car flipped over and crashed into a tree.

Menefee’s death was ruled a result of blunt force trauma and confirmed at the scene.

No conclusions have been drawn yet about what led to the crash.
