On July 31, 1973, Geraldo Rivera Rodriguez was born. While Jerry was raised in Levittown, which is located close to Toa Baja on the central northern coast of the lovely island of Puerto Rico, he is actually from Humacao, Puerto Rico.

Jerry has 4 siblings. Saned, Edwin, Ito, and José are siblings who all work in the salsa genre (one of his brothers was with Puerto Rican Power).

The demo recording was created by his father Edwin “Pino” Rivera, a trio vocalist, when Jerry was just fourteen and a half years old.

Jerry discusses how confident his father was in his ability to achieve in an interview with Maria Conchita Alonso for the television show “Al da con Maria Conchita.” In the trio songs “Entrega” and “Hiereme sans compasion” from the most current production of “De otro manera,” he performs with his father.

Jerry’s father’s trio is also featured on his most recent Album, “Jerry Rivera para siempre.” When Jerry was just fifteen years old, his debut Album, “Empezando a vivir,” was released. Jerry has built up quite a resume in his ten-year career, and it’s not only in the music industry.
