Authorities claim that Kelley vanished after threatening to reveal Ocastor Ferguson’s affair with her to his wife. Ocastor Ferguson was the man Kelley was dating. She was discovered interred close to his home a week later.

On January 19, 2023, the Collin County sheriff’s office reported that 33-year-old Kelly had passed away. The accusation against Kelley’s partner is that he killed her and then vanished. The medical examiner’s office for Tarrant County reported that the cause of death was still under investigation.
