After learning that a loved one was discovered dead in a lake, a South Florida family is inconsolable.

The 14200 block of SW 55 Street is home to Vizcaya Park, where 18-year-old Linnon Latham, also known as L.J, was last seen on April 11, 2023, about 11:30 p.m., according to Miramar Police.

Linnon’s last known outfit consisted of a white t-shirt, a red Adidas jogger, and Gucci slides.His parents attended a news conference at the police department on Thursday morning where they discussed the kind of guy he was and how it was unusual for him to disappear. His disappearance was suspicious to the authorities.

His body was discovered in a lake in the Vizcaya neighborhood on Thursday evening by deputies from the South Broward Drainage District, Pembroke Pines, and Miami-Dade Police Departments. No foul play is now suspected, according to the police, and the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office will establish LJ’s cause of death.The Department is requesting that you pray for his family.
