Biography:

Margaret Qualley was born on October 23, 1994 in Montana, United States. Her mother is actress Andie MacDowell. She studied dance at the North Carolina School of the Arts. She later became an apprentice at the American Ballet Theatre and studied at the Professional Children’s School in New York. At age 16, she decided to quit dance and stayed in New York by working as a model.

In 2013, she made her professional acting debut in the film Palo Alto. She next joined the main cast of the HBO series The Leftovers as Jill Garvey. She simultaneously appeared in the movie The Nice Guys. This year, she became further known for starring in the films Novitiate Sidney Hall, and Death Note.
