Mark Andrew Still, an accountant and longtime company owner, died on April 4, 2023, at the age of 59.

The late Hugh and Elizabeth Still’s son, Mark, was raised in the Harbins Community in Dacula, Georgia.

Mark Still cherished the Winder-Barrow neighborhood. He actively gave back to the community in a number of ways, including serving for 12 years on the Barrow County Board of Education, for many years as a Rotarian, for many years as a member of the Winder Housing Authority, for many years as a member of the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce, and for many years as a member of the Barrow County Tax Assessors Board.

Mark was a committed member of the Winder First United Methodist Church, where he frequently worshipped and contributed his time and abilities in a variety of ways. He also assisted the Boy Scouts as a volunteer.

Mark was always ready to help, no matter what they needed, and he made sure to share his quick humor with them along the way. His enormous, caring heart and dry sense of humor went hand in hand.

Donna Still, Mark’s devoted wife of 33 years, is left behind. The two have lived in Winder for almost 35 years and have firmly established themselves in this neighborhood. Blake Still and Andrew Still, two kids that Mark and Donna raised (Mallory). Ava Audrey Still’s grandfather Mark was also Jessi Johnson’s father-in-law.
