A body that was found in the water near the Dashields Dam in Crescent Township Monday morning has been identified.

The Allegheny County medical examiner identified the person as missing Penn Hills woman Nia Sandra Rash.

Rash, 25, was reported missing in January after being last seen on Dec. 28. getting off a bus in Pittsburgh.

Officials have not released a cause or manner of death for Rash.
