In the course of the search for missing 17-year-old Ronnie Jerome Everette Jr. in Franklin, a body was discovered on Tuesday afternoon.According to authorities, the body was discovered on Gardner Street, close to Cameron Street, in the vicinity of the Berkley Court Apartments. According to a press statement, Franklin Police Department officers were in the area around 4:25 p.m. looking into Everette’s disappearance when they “were alerted by activity they witnessed” in the vicinity where the body was discovered.The body was brought to the Norfolk Medical Examiner’s Office for accurate identification. As of right now, no cause of death has been identified. The case is being investigated as an undetermined death, according to the police.There are currently no additional updates available, however the inquiry is still ongoing.Everette was last seen by family members at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, according to the police.
