Following an unidentified illness, Britaney R. Dunkle, 30, of Shippenville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at The Good Samaritan Hospice Care Center in Cabot.
Her parents, New Jersey-born Randolph Hawkins and Nickleville, Pennsylvania-born Jill Dunkle Bailey, welcomed her into the world on May 12, 1992 in Titusville.
After graduating from Franklin High School in 2010, Britaney went on to Salisbury University in Maryland’s Perdue Business School, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing management.
She worked for Aerotek Staffing and Recruiting in Baltimore, Maryland, for more than a year following her college graduation, but soon after she was diagnosed with an unidentified illness in October 2020, the illness’ rapid progression made it impossible for her to continue working.

Since she moved back to Pennsylvania in January 2021, Britaney has been a member of both Nickleville Presbyterian Church in Nickleville and Hope Rising Church in Clarion.
She got baptized in November 2021 at Hope Rising Church because she enjoyed participating in worship and fellowship with other churchgoers.

On Thursday, December 29th, from 2 pm to 4 pm, and again from 6 pm to 8 pm, visitation services will be held at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home on Wood Street in Clarion, Pennsylvania. On Friday, December 30th, visitation services will be held there from 10 am to 12 pm.
After the viewing service on Friday, there will be a Celebration of Life memorial supper for friends and family.
