The guy who was shot and murdered during a Missoula home invasion on Sunday afternoon has been identified by the authorities.
Patrick S. Shemorry, 41, of Spokane Valley, Washington, died on Monday after “sustaining gunshot wounds in an incident on Brooks Street in Missoula,” according to Missoula County Sheriff and Coroner Jeremiah Petersen.
Just before 4:00 p.m., Missoula Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 300 block of Brooks Street.
“A guy was discovered by a homeowner trying to enter his home. The homeowner warned the man several times, telling him to stop.
The male kept going into the house until he broke through the front door’s screen, where he got access to the house. Then the homeowner shot him many times.” Montana Police
Bennett claims that the homeowner, who has cooperated with the inquiry, has been contacted by law enforcement.
