After discovering a coworker dead from stab wounds in a workplace in Englewood, a man is now being charged.

A man who was not breathing was reported at Hematite, a manufacturing facility for auto parts, at 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, according to a previous report from News Center 7.

There was “an employee down” in the restroom in the break area, a man reported when he dialed the emergency number. He was discovered with “blood on his forehead,” “bloodshot eyes,” and was “unresponsive,” according to the caller. The injured person wasn’t moving.

The caller reported that he had been found to be bleeding from his abdomen, more particularly from the right side.

According to the Englewood Police Department, the man, identified as Shaunn Monroe, 42, of Dayton, was declared dead at the site.

Officers and detectives secured the building and put it on lockdown while reviewing security footage and speaking with workers.

Lytus Jordan III, a coworker who is 31 years old and from Huber Heights, was detained while he was still on the scene.

The Montgomery County Grand Jury will now be consulted regarding Jordan’s case.

Jordan is presently in the Montgomery County Jail’s care.
