In Loving Memory of Stephanie Dale Nichols

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephanie  Nichols, aged 43, of Bethlehem, KY. Stephanie left us on Friday, November 17, 2023, near Smithfield, KY, following a tragic automobile accident. Born in Shelbyville, Shelby County, KY, Stephanie was the beloved daughter of Steve Dale Nichols and Debbie Sue Taylor (Miller).

Stephanie found solace and community at Franklinton Baptist Church, where she was an active member. Her dedication extended to her professional life, where she worked in the dietary department at Cedar Lake Lodge. Stephanie’s joy radiated through her love for fishing and cherished moments with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Elizabeth Renee’ Nichols of Shelbyville, KY; sons, Joseph Allen McCutchen of LaGrange, KY, Gary Odell Thompson of Bethlehem, KY, and Colton Michael McCarty of Bethlehem, KY; her husband, Ted Thompson of Bethlehem, KY; her mother, Debbie Sue Taylor Miller of Shelbyville, KY; sisters, Christy (Jonathan) Wilson of Shelbyville, KY, Leslie Nichols of Shelbyville, KY, and Rebekah (Jim) Peterson of Louisville, KY; and a grandson, Hudson Berryman.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her father. As we come together to remember Stephanie, let us find solace in the cherished moments and the love she shared with us all. May she rest in eternal peace.
