Stetson Etzkorn’s Obituary – Remembering a Life Well-Lived

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Stetson Patrick Etzkorn, a cherished member of the Wapakoneta, Ohio community. Stetson, born in Lima, Ohio, left this world on September 4, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be held dear by his family and friends.

Stetson is survived by a loving family, including his grandparents, Patrick and Angie Murphy, as well as Mike and Penny Etzkorn. He also leaves behind his beloved cousin, Madison Murphy, and caring uncles, Elijah of Wapakoneta, Jammison Etzkorn of Wapakoneta, and Garrett Etzkorn of Wapakoneta. Stetson’s great-grandparents, Sally Murphy of Elida, Don of Elida, and Linda Lybarger of Elida, were an integral part of his life, offering him the warmth of their love and care.

He also shared a deep connection with his extended family, including Stacy and Buddy Jolliff, Vincent and Kendra Murphy, Brian and Ronda Lybarger, Vickie and Robbie Douglas, Greg and Marilyn Foxhoven, Monte Foxhoven, David and Karen Etzkorn, Doug and Connie Etzkorn, as well as his great-grandparents, Tom Murphy, Damien, Vivian Foxhoven, Richard, and Martha Etzkorn. Stetson’s uncle, Josh Vorhees, held a special place in his heart.

In addition to his family, Stetson was adored by Kehlani, Hunter, Ashlyn, Braden, Kerianne, Brayden, and Sarah.

A visitation to pay respects and offer condolences to Stetson’s family will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 615 Dixie Hwy, Wapakoneta, OH 45895. We invite all who knew Stetson to join us in remembering and celebrating his life during a ceremony on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 10:30 AM at the same location.
