With so many years under his belt as the lead vocalist for the band Grim Reaper, Steve Grimmett amassed considerable wealth for himself. His net worth is estimated at $2 million.

Grimmett was born on 19 August 1959 and died on 15 August 2022, aged 62. He died four days to his 63rd birthday.

His death was confirmed by his brother Mark Grimmett, who wrote on social media:

Grim Reaper was formed in 1979. However, Grimmett joined the lineup as their vocalist in 1982 and at the time of his passing, he was the longest tenured member within the group.

Over the course of the band’s career, he appeared on five studio albums.

The first three – See You in Hell, Fear No Evil and Rock You to Hell – were recorded between 1982-1988.

The last two – Walking in the Shadows and At the Gates – were recorded in 2016 and 2019 respectively.
