Plans for the funeral of Thad Rowley
We regret to inform you that Thad Rowley, one of our proprietors, passed away last week following a cancer fight. Thad was an important part of our family and our business. He was in charge of our farming operations, and he was quite good at it. To develop fruit of high quality, Thad worked very hard and took tremendous delight in seeing our customers enjoy the tangible results of his labor. On the farm, it is impossible to go anywhere without noticing his effect. He was courteous and respectful to everyone. He had a lot of friends and was well-liked by everyone who knew him, probably none more so than the people he worked with every day. But rather than fruit, Thad’s greatest legacies were his faith and his family. He was a good husband, a good parent, a decent son, and the best older brother. We miss and adore him!
Who was Thad Rowley?
Thad Rowley was born on March 11, 1974, the oldest of Philip and Shirley Rowley’s eight children. His parents loved him dearly and were overjoyed to witness him develop into an intelligent adult. Thad was a wonderful older brother. He led by example, guiding his brothers toward a life of integrity and dignity. Thad married his beloved Tami Lynn Martineau in the Manti Temple on June 25, 1997. They are very devoted to their six sons, Jason (Amelia), Jared, David, Daniel, Dallin, and James. They are excited about welcoming a grandson in July.
Family was everything to Thad. He cared deeply about Tami, and he always prioritized her. He spent a lot of time with Tami and was happiest when she was there. Thad was so proud of his sons that nothing made him happier than to see them grow into good young men. His sons were his closest friends, and he loved spending time with them.
Thad had a huge effect on the families of his brothers. His siblings were very close to him; they had a special bond and frequently served, worked, and socialized together. His kind leadership and compassionate example has made him someone his extended family can look up to and emulate. With his nieces and nephews, he always made time for uplifting remarks or entertaining chats.
Thad had a strong love for his Savior and a fervent testimony for the gospel of Jesus Christ. He pledged to serve the Lord in a number of ways during his life. Because he enjoyed missionary work, he loved serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hungary, Budapest mission. Thad treasured the time he spent helping the people of Hungary. He inspired his kids and brothers to serve missions by drawing on his beloved missionary recollections.
