The Judds reunited earlier this month for their first awards-show performance in two decades, singing the timeless ballad (Love Can Build a Bridge) at the 2022 CMT Music Awards.
Tragically, the performance was also their last, following the shocking news of Naomi Judd’s death at the age of 76 on Saturday.

In a statement released on Saturday(April 30), Judd’s daughters, country singer Wynonna and actress Ashley Judd, confirmed the artist’s death.
In a statement, they said, We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness.
We’ve been shattered. We are coping with profound grief and know that, as much as we loved her, the rest of the world did as well.
The Judds were announced as inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame last year and were scheduled to be inducted on Sunday(May 1).
The band had also recently announced a farewell tour, which would begin in September.
