Alisa Hove is a professor of Botany and chair of the biology department. She won on the ‘Jeopardy Professors Tournament’ on Friday night, December 10, ending the night on top with $20,000.

The competition began on Monday, December 6, and will continue on successive weeknights until a winner is announced on Friday, December 17.

Alisa Hove’s current age is 56 years old. In 1965, the professor was born in Asheville, North Carolina, to a small family.

She holds an American nationality and is of the Christian religion.  Hove grew up watching ‘Jeopardy,‘ which was also her family’s favorite program.

So when Hove heard about an opportunity to try out for the program decades later, she jumped at the chance, and to her surprise, she got a callback.
